Primary Source Data
“Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before”
Edgar Allan Poe
Can you be a psychic and at once remain skeptical and desire incontrovertible evidence of the very psychic ability you yourself display? It may be a paradox but that is exactly what I have sought to achieve and have spent considerable time researching to satisfy my personal need for solid evidence and perhaps even validation of paranormal occurrences. I, like most of us had not previously found myself in the fortunate position of being able to conduct my own research and I am the first to admit that I am not a qualified scientist or parapsychologist. However, the fact that I am a full time working psychic that has provided services over time to some ten thousand clients has enabled me to personally conduct what I feel is some valid research of my own via filling in a predetermined questionnaire and recording certain key facts after each and every psychic reading over a number of years. I had carefully kept these anonymous records that only retained key facts and data without names, thinking that one day it may prove interesting to look into. One could argue in fact that these facts, far from being a draw back, have placed me in a unique position to enable me to collect data they may not be available to anyone else, no matter what research qualifications and previous experience they may have. I have got into the habit of recording data after every single consultation for years, being unsure what exactly to do with it or how to extrapolate anything useful from the findings myself. Until a relative attended a University in Dorset and some fellow students heard about the data from them and offered to help take a look at my findings and correlate the data, extracting any meaningful and solid facts and results occurring from within the data. On a scientific scale, I am unsure if any researcher would consider ten thousand people over a long period of time, a large enough study group, although I have heard of much research performed with far fewer test subjects in the past. I don’t plan to publish here an exhaustive list containing all the findings and facts but a sample to give some idea of the results. I will state right here and now that I have never been a big fan of astrology, or have ever believed much about it, but never the less collected data pertaining to this field as I was inquisitive. Among the data recorded after each reading were such facts as:
Age
Sex
Location
Date of Birth
Partner (if applicable age and astrological sign)
Level of education
Reason for consultation
Health (minor/serious operations, dates completed and outcome)
Frequency of psychic consultations
Astrological Sign
Job Title
Family and relationship status
Religion or belief system
Personal experience of psychic ability or phenomena
Main focus point or reason for consulting a psychic
Perceived quality of life
Previous relationship history
Asked if they had all ways responded truthfully with their feedback to myself during their consultation
Now whilst perhaps not earth shattering, to my mind some very interesting facts emerged, they may surprise some and not purely from the perspective of psychic and paranormal ability in itself.
For the purpose of classification the groups have been broken down and classified as per the guidelines of The Office for National Statistics (ONS) this is the government department responsible for collecting and publishing official statistics about the U K’s society and economy. I do however have to state that the location of my clients is not strictly UK or even Europe, as my clients originate from all over the world, but a bench mark had to be set for classification purposes alone. So please use this table as a guide to the group classification used to extract the data.
Table A - Operational Categories of the NS-SEC linked to Social Class
Social Class NS-SEC Operational Categories

II Managerial and Technical occupations
III N Skilled occupations - non-manual

The thing that interested myself most personally from the correlated data was the trends that became apparent in certain astrological signs, mainly as I had previously dismissed astrology as harmless entertainment and nothing more. These unexpected findings have prompted me to go back and take another look at the whole subject area. Whilst I still hold the same belief currently that the daily or monthly Astrology Readings found in most popular newspapers and magazines are merely harmless fun, the trends and traits displayed by certain astrological sign among my clients have never the less proven surprising and of sufficient interest to me to encourage me to go back and take another look at this discipline perhaps more from the angle of probable trends for people born at a certain time than that of a form of making predictions.
I also noted the fact that clients having various operations and what seems to be ‘inopportune’ times, have more difficulties, complications and slower recovery time than those who don’t.
Unfortunately having an inquisitive nature, all this has thrown up a whole lot more questions for me than it has answered but is interesting to note and ponder on none the less. This, as I have already stated is a small sample of the information that this exercise has thrown out. A huge thank you to my clients over the years for patiently taking part.
